Welcome
We are a member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, and our church believes in Bible-based principles and teaches the word of God in it's truth and purity, and administers the sacraments according to the mandate of Christ Jesus, we worship and serve together and invite you and our community to worship with us.
Mission Statement
Holy Cross, in accordance with Article II of our Constitution reads in part:
“The purpose of this congregation shall be to live to glory of God, and with His help carry out His will in our daily lives as revealed in the Sacred Scriptures;”
It goes on to say that our goal is to “preach and teach the Word of God, administer the two Sacraments as instituted by Christ and to be united in peaceful fellowship by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
The 2nd Article concludes by stressing the spiritual and educational dimension of our ministry in these words: “to show love and concern for its members; to provide for the religious instruction of all its members and to witness in the community the Gospel of Jesus Christ in accordance with the confessional standard of the Evangelical Lutheran Church,” LC-MS
